This recently converted, old corn mill lies
in a hidden valley just a few miles from the
coast, Laugharne, Pendine, Saundersfoot and Tenby
being the nearest beaches. The local village
is approx 1 mile from the property and boasts
some excellent small shops, pubs and delicatessen
etc.
There are plenty of places to visit
for all the family, fun days out, good restaurants
for dining and places of interest, all within
easy driving distance of the mill, making it
a convenient, central place to stay to visit
the whole area.
The mill has been tastefully converted to retain
much of its original character whilst making this
into great accommodation for all. The entrance
is on the ground floor and leads into the dining
hall, which has beamed ceilings, stone walls slate
floors and a large pine dining table and chairs,
also a sofa, occasional furniture and colour TV.
The
kitchen, which is also on this floor is well
equipped with fitted units, electric split level
cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave
oven, and automatic washing machine. Also on
this floor is a double bedroom, which is furnished
with a pine double bed and leads to an en-suite
bathroom, which provides bath with overhead shower
wash hand basin and WC.
Stairs lead from the
dining room to the first floor lounge, this spacious
room is tastefully furnished and has beamed ceilings,
exposed floor boards covered with attractive
rugs, comfortable sofas, occasional furniture,
colour TV, DVD with digital TV receiver, video
and a CD/tape/radio system. There is a further
double room on this floor, and a third bedroom,
which contains twin beds. Bed linen is provided
for all the beds, which have duvets. A cot and
high chair are available. There is a second bathroom
with bath, overhead shower, wash hand basin and
WC.
There is full oil central heating throughout
the Mill and all oil and electricity is charged
for at a flat rate of £45 per
week (£35 per week in
July and August) payable to the owner on arrival.
All bedrooms and the sunny sitting out area overlook
the millpond, waterfall and stream.
There is
also garden furniture, barbecue, a decked area
and a grassed area with plenty of room for children
to play safely. Ample parking. Regrettably no
pets at this property. No smoking in the property
please.
Towels are also provided subject to a £30 refundable
holding deposit (payable to owner on arrival)
if required.
